Question by â˜®Androgynousâ˜®: Trans-people. Gender/sex?

Hello you trans-people! The question I ask is not meant to offend, but to educate myself.
I have heard that "Gender is between the ears, sex is between the legs". And I completely agree with that. If you are a woman in the wrong body, then I 100% recognize you as a woman, the same as if you were a male born into a female's body, I recognize you 100% as a male.
That said, there is the undeniable fact that you have the wrong genitalia. My question is this: How do you consider yourself? I mean, you consider yourself as a man or a woman, but when you see your genital area, does it come crashing on you like a wave in the ocean that your sex doesn't match your gender? How do you account for the physical sex/body parts that you don't want?
99% (gender) 1% (sex)?
Or 50/50?
Or 100% without acknowledging what you have?

Sorry if I offended anyone, but my knowledge in trans-people is horribly lacking and I'm interested to know how you deal with this, and what it's like.

I'm sure it's a very hard and possibly confusing thing.

Well when I am dressed like a guy and passing I feel amazing! fantastic

today i was making a video of my back (i have been working out and I wanna see how my back looks)

when I re-played the video I saw my huge(to me) hourglass hips... and its just like F*U C K

sometimes I think of myself as a guy with no penis, and a guy with curves, or a guy with boobs.. I have to cover them in order to fit into society
